Hello ECPI World Travelers,
The Culinary Institute of Virginia and ECPI University celebrate the 15th year of the Study Abroad program in 2014 with a 10 day journey to Europe…specifically, Germany, Italy and Switzerland.
We leave October 13, 2014 and fly to Munich, and begin the tour with a visit to Neuschwanstein Castle. Construction began in the mid 1800’s and was the inspiration for Cinderella’s castle in Disneyland. While in Germany, we will also visit the site of the 1972 Olympic Games and walk through the Dachau Concentration Camp. It was the first concentration camp built by the Nazis in World War II and has a gas chamber, although it was never used.
It is then onto Venice, Italy for sightseeing, viewing famous Venetian glass and a ride in gondolas gliding through the city of canals.
In Lucerne, Switzerland we will have a traditional Swiss dinner with Fondue following a visit to Mt. Pilatus. We will wrap up with a visit to Heidelberg via the Black Forest and a Cuckoo clock demonstration.
Your fee is $3613 and includes roundtrip airfare from Norfolk, hotel (2 to a room), breakfast and dinner daily, all entrance fees, a 24 hour tour guide, deposit and travel insurance. We have a special offer until March 31st. If you use the voucher code snowflake150 you will get a discount of $150 bringing your total cost to $3463. However, there is a caveat. We need 25 travelers to sign up by March 31st to secure this group rate. After March 31st the price will likely increase and will certainly increase if we do not have at least 25 travelers signed up
We also have a cap on the number of travelers we can take. When we reach capacity, we will start a wait list, but no guarantees.
Please review the day by day itinerary at www.explorica.com/Corillo-3183. If you decide to join us, you can sign up and hold your place on the roster at the same site. Friends, siblings and spouses are welcome to join you at the same group price. Please note when you sign up that the deposit and insurance premium are not refundable. Financial aid is available to those students who qualify.
Ask anyone who has traveled with us…we have a great time.
If you have any questions, please let us know.
